Yeah haven't posted in a long time, first with getting ready for a month long trip that included 3 cities and 2 states, and the worlds largest furry con, then the actual trip itself.

First time I had gone anywhere by train and while I had expected it to take forever it was only made worse by the fact that the train was 4 hours late leaving Chicago. Though I must say it is far more comfortable than going by air and you can actually sleep and stretch out in the coach class seats.

Spent 2 weeks with Giza which was fun. Got to explore Philadelphia and spend the weekend before AC at Kage's helping get things ready for the con.

The con was a blast got to meet new people, hang out with friends, got to know some better. Bought several things at the dealers area as well as get my reference sheet. Drank a large volume of liquor starting Wednesday and going until Monday morning. Got to help Skan/Fizz run the lasers at the dance/rave, which was fucking sweet.



The 4th of July I flew out to San Antonio for a family reunion sort of thing which I was expecting to be boring as hell. Though it turned out really well because I got to spend time with family that I rarely see and actually share the same views that I do, and now some parts of my extended family know that I am gay and are cool with it which is great.

Getting used to being back to work after a month off is really weird but I am running dry on funds so it will be good to get money.

Last night I realized that my birthday was on Monday and being a little late to plan for anything this weekend I am thinking that I will just plan to do something next weekend and just go to the fur meet this weekend with maybe a little hanging out and drinking.

I am finally back into my workout plan now that school is out. I am planning on losing at least 10lbs by AC.

Ok, I haven't posted in a while but I've been up to a fair bit.

FCN was the greatest con I have been to, AC may be better than last year because I know a lot more people now than I did last year when I was yet a new fur wide-eyed, straight, and innocent but I digress. Got in Thursday night after class and within a half an hour of getting there the drinking had begun, I found my new drink of choice which is called an El Presidente which I was drinking all weekend. Rooming with Talon, Odin, Tigger, Drew, and Amire was cool though I spent very little time in the room aside from the 13 hours of sleep I got during the con. Being part of security was really cool and everyone on staff was pretty awesome. The rave and Skan's lasers were the coolest and I achieved the perfect level of drunk to actually dance like crazy, which my muscles were not happy about the next day. Sunday, was all about massive drinking and laziness, at the staff party we not only had massive amounts booze but we also ate 3 big benito pizzas. I am going to get to work posting pics of the craziness.

Finishing up school stuff lately like my 13 page Marxist theory paper. Only like one year to go before I am done with school and I can go out and get a full time job and actually move out.

Yay, I finally hit 200 lbs which is my half way point on my way to 180, it took me about 2.5 months so by summer I should be in pretty good shape to start building up to 190 with muscle. Who knew that I wouldn't need a drill sergeant kicking my ass to get in shape. I think I may have found 2 places in Flint that have Jeet Kune Do instructors and I am going to see about getting into that, I've always wanted to learn it and it will be a good workout on top of what I am already doing.

Also I have made it down to 206 lbs and my jeans are starting to bunch up around the waist when I put a belt on. YAY!

Ok, heres the news. For some unknown reason I've been on a real self-improvement thing and have started to work on several things like working out on a regular basis, eating healthy, and changing my style some what.

Since I've started eating healthy I have lost about 10 lbs which is 1/4 of my total goal of 180 lbs and have gone down almost 3 belt loops. My newer goal that I've recently decided to take on is to workout till I am in the same shape as my character, which I am planning on having a reference drawing done very soon.
As of earlier this week I have started working out everyday rotating between cardio and weight-lifting with half my regular cardio.
I am planning on going up to the local salon and having my hair dyed black with significant blue highlights, depending on how it comes out I might keep it as long as the summer.
Also as a reward for reaching my goal I have decided I am going to fill in the rest of my back with ink. I am going to talk to an artist that I know of to combine these two styles http://www.bmeink.com/A70306/high/bmepb469214.jpg and http://www.furaffinity.net/view/424941/ to make a design that will cover the rest of my back that isn't already taken by the eagle tattoo. I am going to have it designed so that if I feel like it later I can extend it into 2 half sleeves.

As I predicted this week has turned out to be less then stellar. I've spent far too much time around family for my sanity between Monday and Tuesday. Monday night drank quite a bit, something like 10 shots of vodka on an empty stomach. (note to self no drinking alone) Now I am pretty sure I am getting the flu. But on a more positive note I did manage to pick up Call of Duty 4 which is just so awesome. I have the feeling that next week is going to go pretty good, so here's hoping.

Edit: I forgot to add, Yay! I've lost 5.5 lbs so far and that is without working out  for various reasons, fucking up my ankle and now being sick. I am about 1/8 of my goal of losing 40 lbs.

Yays I got a new icon.

I just got Orange box today and played through Portal which is one of the coolest yet creepiest games I have ever  played. It is not very long but some parts are pretty confusing and makes you think in ways that you wouldnt normally think. It is very creepy because the entire time you are completely alone. Team Fortress is also fucking sweet and I am not sure if i want to take time from TF2 to play Half-Life 2 and EP 1 & 2 but I am going to get around to it eventually.

Just recently found out about what could be the most frighting thing since 9/11, Directive 51.

Essentially puts president and secretary of Department of Homeland Security(then called the National Continuity Coordinator) in charge of all government functions and in the process puts the National Continuity Coordinator in charge of "maintaining order". The Directive also does something that previous emergency directives don't do and that is circumvent the power of Congress to override the President's call of a state of emergency and the Directive also allows the President to declare national martial law for even a local disaster.
